About

 What's this blog about?

Literature. Life. is about, well, literature and life. Under the literature category, you will find musings on books that I read, some literary criticism, thoughts on the writing industry, and some of my own original works. Life, on the other hand, is much broader and encompasses the fun and exciting, the day-to-day, and the serious issues that go along with "real life."

But, you know, let's be honest. All of that is a fancy, semi-formal way of saying THIS BLOG IS ABOUT WHATEVER I FEEL LIKE WRITING ABOUT.  This blog has BADD (blog attention deficit disorder).

So, please enjoy my (sometimes coherent) ramblings.

Who is A.L.S. Vossler?

This is me looking pensive.
I live in the American Midwest with my husband, two cats, one betta fish, and three hundred sixty-three My Little Ponies.

In 2009, I received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Concordia University Chicago.  My published works include short stories, creative non-fiction, poetry, book reviews, movie reviews, and several news articles. I have been writing, off and on, since I was fourteen years old, and hope to have my first novel published in 2017.

In addition to Literature. Life., I also run The Lonely Young Writer, where I encourage young writers to improve their skills and achieve their dreams.
